WE ARE HIRING – DEPUTY REGISTERED MANAGER
Location: Cumbria – Kendal / Appleby / Penrith Service: Domiciliary & Community Care
Are you an experienced Senior Care Professional looking to progress into a management role?
We are seeking a motivated, organised and compassionate Deputy Registered Manager to support the Registered Manager in the effective day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining quality, supporting staff and ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Key responsibilities include:

Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the service

Provide leadership, supervision and support to care staff

Monitor the quality and consistency of care delivery

Conduct spot checks, audits and quality monitoring
-
Support safeguarding, incident, complaint and investigation processes
-
Monitor medication practices and MAR compliance
-
Support the review of care plans and risk assessments
-
Assist with staff recruitment, induction and training
-
Support compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
-
Help drive continuous improvement across the service

Deputise for the Registered Manager when required
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in a senior or supervisory role within adult social care

Good understanding of CQC requirements and care regulations
-
Strong leadership and communication skills
-
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
-
Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care
-
Relevant Adult Social Care qualification
-
Level 4/5 qualification or management experience is desirable
