Your Role
As a Community Care Worker with Litmus Care, you will:

Support children and young adults with disabilities in their homes and local communities
- Support children and young adults with autism, learning disabilities, and behaviour that challenges
-
Promote independence and help the children and young people achieve personal goals

Provide personal care with dignity (bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility support)

Assist with household tasks (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)

Administer or assist with medication following care plans

Support with community access, engagement, shopping, collecting prescriptions, and outings
- Support with building new skills

Be a trusted, friendly, and professional presence for the children and young people we support and their families
- Provide person-centred support in accessing the community

Desirable:

Previous experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities

Experience in behaviour management

Living within Solihull or nearby areas for ease of commute

Current full UK Driving Licence and access to own car
